Who We Are

Hamilton Drayage has been serving the relocation needs of families and businesses since 1905. Still family owned and four generations later, Hamilton Drayage continues to serve the Long Island community. Getting its start in Roslyn Heights and later expanding to Huntington Station, Hamilton Drayage has earned the reputation as the mover to call on when the projects are large, demanding, and complex. Though our company has evolved from horse drawn wagons to modern tractors with sophisticated electronic controls, it remains unchanged that Hamilton Drayage continues to dedicate itself to providing fine service, maintaining a team of highly skilled professionals, and delivering competitive pricing.

Hamilton Drayage is a turn-key service provider. That means we will handle every aspect of your project. Our services include commercial warehousing for the equipment that arrived earlier than anticipated and now requires a safe harbor until your facility is prepared to receive it. If you prefer to do it yourself, we offer portable storage units that can be dropped at your location to handle your extra space needs. We also provide logistics management if your business relies on the timely and cost effective distribution of product.

Sometimes the product or equipment that you have is so large, heavy, and valuable that other service providers shy away from handling it. That is not the case with Hamilton Drayage. We are master riggers, experienced and trained with the right equipment to handle commodities of that nature. If it is your entire operation that needs to be relocated, Hamilton Drayage is once again the right choice. We have decades of history relocating big and small brand name businesses. Our experienced professionals will meet with you to decide the best strategy to accomplish the intended results. Once we have established the plan we will calculate all of the associated costs to provide you with an accurate estimate for the presented scope of work. Our customers often find this extremely helpful for forecasting a realistic time frame and planning for the impact on the other facets of their business. After the proposal is accepted we will work with you to develop a schedule that is mutually agreeable.

Our operations department will dedicate the appropriate talent from our workforce and the specialized equipment required to bring your project to successful completion. But it doesn't stop there. If the equipment or furniture that we delivered in place requires final assembly we are able to provide that service as well. We're not done yet. There is inevitably clean up required at the old location to make the move complete. We will remove unwanted items, provide roll-off container service, storage at our facility, and leave the old location broom-swept clean.
